The class of 1965 made a donation of $500 to Livermore High School via the LHS Alumni Association. Your reunion committee voted to make the donation to show your support for our alma mater. We made the donation because our schools have been faced with ongoing fiscal cuts with more to come. This is our chance to give back.
There will be a presentation at the Livermore High School Homecoming Game this Friday, October 29. It will be made between the J. V. game and Varsity game at about 6:30 on the football field. They will mention our generous donation and that the class of 1965 has challenged all other classes to step up and contribute as well.

High School Tour Info
If you are going to the tour of Livermore High Saturday morning (10am) you can park in the "Old Faculty" parking lot. That is the lot on your right if you are standing in front of the Main building. Because the main doors are kept locked we will be meeting at the door that opens directly on that lot (old attendance office door).

Two Weeks To Go!
Well gang, after more than a year of planning and numerous meetings, our reunion weekend is just around the corner. Yahoo!
As we reach this final stretch, here are some points to provide clarification:
1. Details for the Friday Golf Outing and Saturday tours are on the invitation you received. Click on the reunion flyer link to check times and locations. Contact a committee member if you still have questions.
2. Saturday 's party is a No Host Hors d'oeurves Reception. So....eat a tasty meal before arriving at Beebes. There several good restaurants in the area. Just search on-line.
3. Dress is "California Casual" meaning easy and comfortable, dressy enough to look good without the excess of a prom dress or tuxedo. Leave the tight belt and stilettos at home.
4. Maps for Sunday's picnic at the Walker Ranch will be provided at the Saturday party.
5. Because approximately 120 people have signed up for the picnic, carpooling is recommended to ease traffic and parking at the ranch.

I don't know about you, but my dad and Bob's dad were BIG boxing fans when we were growing up. This video brings back lots of memories. I called the motels listed plus on the flier plus an additional one to find out some rates and also to see if any would give a group rate. A great rate came in from Hampton Inn so I booked a block of rooms from September 24 - 26th. There are 10 rooms blocked and will be until about 1 month before the reunion and at that time if there are rooms left they will be released to the public.
All rooms at Hampton Inn are at $59.00 and include the following:
1 King bed
microwave
refrigerator
hot breakfast
Free Wine and Beer with light dinner M-T 6pm - 7:30pm
Free high speed internet
and more.......

Rodeo Parade and LHS Alumni Support
The Livermore High School Alumni Association (LHSAA) needs your help. You are requested to participate in the Livermore Rodeo Parade on June 12, 9am to Noon.
The LHSAA hopes to have as many alumni as possible walking behind the LHS Marching Band in this year's parade. The more "Mature" alumni will be riding in mint classic cars. There will be banners designating the each decade of graduates. Participants are asked to wear something green or gold or both. Wearing an old jersey, Block L sweater or jacket could add to the fun.
Please RSVP by May 15. Details will be forthcoming as the date of the parade approaches. To RSVP go to facebook, search Livermore High Alumni Association Rodeo Parade. An email to LHSAlumniAssoc@gmail.com or a phone call to 925 373 6601 would work, too.
